Assume:
CC is still around when you die
You have an eldest child
That eldest child is willing to play
Would you leave your CC account to them to continue to fight your battles and bring honour to your name, or would you let them start their own CC account and make their own name for themselves?
Would it be against the rules to post in the game chat that you were proposing a truce to another player with the details on his wall on the condition that he state whether he accepts or not in the game chat?
I think it should be fine, because the information still be public and it will still be ...
I like going for Scandinavia. me too but every game, the NA dominant guy stacks Greenland Leave three troops in Moskva or Finland and put everything else in Iceland. Nobody will bother breaking you from the East because of how little of a threat you are, so you're free to concentrate your build ...
I find that taking two of the smaller regions like Australia, La Plata, Scandinavia, Mexico, or India early on in the game is a very good strategy. You deploy your bonuses on your borders for a while, and then when the game is developed enough that you are no longer a viable target for expansion ...
I imagine that mastering a certain setting on a certain map with a decent doubles partner and player 8-player games would be a good way to build points quickly. The only downside is that it takes those kinds of games a while to fill up, and mastering the maps and settings is easier said than done.
In your typical CC Game, there is nothing more deadly and insidious than an SEP. They are capable of racking up large bonuses without getting attacked by other players. In fact, the only time the other players seem to notice their existence is when it's already too late.
Whats wrong with sequential placement and no fog. Yes takes more rounds to even start the game, but would be the real "initial troop placement" Could even make each map have a specific round limit to get all the troops deployed by forcing X amount of troops be placed per round.
When establishing a truce, you should do one of two things: 1) Set a round where the truce will either end or be renewed. It will be up to both parties to agree on what happens after that. 2) Set a one, two, or three-round warning before ending truces. Two-rounds is usually best. If neither of these ...
If you've got more territories in one region than anyone else, dump all your troops there. The other players will see the map and assume they don't have a chance so they'll put their troops elsewhere. If everyone has an equal amount, put in a few troops. Most people will decide to deploy elsewhere ...
I used to be at the top of the scoreboard, way back in the first week of CC in '06. That was way back when the high score was something like 1200 points. I fell, of course, but after a lot of map whoring (AoM FTW!) I managed to claw my way back to the front page as a captain. Then, because of a ...
I think I'll poke at Blitz's list OCD by asking him to attach a link to the players' profiles in each name, then put their date of joining in brackets next to their names, and finally to arrange all those names by those dates.
I won't pretend to know anything else about wicked except that she didn't agree to a double-or-nothing avatar challenge rematch, and because of this she is a chicken for life.
Have an option to ignore the foe lists of players when creating a game:
⋅ Ignore foe list could be a yes/no option like foggy/sunny. ⋅ If player A has joined a game and he has player B on his foe list, player B can still join the game if this option is enabled.
Hmm, that's a good point Aradhus. BOB does help show attack routes and other helpful information that the less observant among us (read: me ) would have otherwise missed, but attentive players should be able to play okay without it. And then there's the issue you brought up about people having ...
Now now, no need to get so harsh. If we don't want him contiminating the gene pool we can just castrate him. That way he can still live the rest of his life, albeit in some sort of freak show somewhere. I'm sure loads of people would pay to see The Incredible Stupidest Man on Earth or whatever his ...
Does CC have any rules or guidelines and what scripts can and can't be used, and if it doesn't, should it?
Scripts like BOB really enhance the game - I can hardly remember how I played games before it - but they also give players that use them an advantage over players that don't. The thing is ...
I don't think I've ever made it to the end of the second round in any of my speed BRs
I was the first guy eliminated in the first BR this year, actually. Thought it was a terminator when it was a standard, found my highest ranking neighbour, crossed my fingers, hit auto-assault, lost. Then the ...
