Personally I think that'd be a great idea. the only minor problem you'd run into is that the english position would have all of the "mortar" archer units since the French hadn't picked up on the use of long bows in battle which is what contributed to them being slaughtered in this battle, so if ...
that's awesome I'm glad to hear there won't be any bonuses, that would be a map I think I'd definitely play on quite a bit, probably be fun for doubles.
Read through your discussion and thought i'd just throw you guys a couple ideas to discuss whilst I pass through.
The historical battles idea is a nice one the only problem is most of them did have enormous fleet differences after the British really started building up in the 1400s-world war 2 ...

You're right, dice are way more random than the assault cubes, assault cubes < fair. dice < fair but > assault cubes. maybe someone can do some data mining to prove assault cubes are as fair as dice? lol.
First time to the forums here, but I felt this was a good enough situation. I have to say that the changes to the classic map and the "centerscape" (read: middle earth) map are entirely ridiculous. I'm sure some much more minor changes could be made to the classic map since it's technically only a ...
