Eragon

Post by FindersKeepers »

i wanna see the map from the book "Eragon" and "Eldest" by Christopher Paolini. Its almost the same kind of theme as "Lord of the Rings". You know, bows and arrows. It would be a great map. The name of the land in the book is "Algeasia" (dunno about spellings)

i suggested this a few months ago and it got pretty much forgotten about
like i said b4, this would be a great map, but there are probably copyright issues

713x480 isn't too big...

Plus a lot would need to be done with it before it worked as a CC map anyways.

I was working on one a while back, but there didn't seem to be the interest to make the work worth it.

Here's the link to the topic though:

If I could get photoshop for my laptop I would prolly be willing to continue work

Last year or so, definatly feel free to make your own, I just figured I'd throw that in for the discussion. I think it'd be a fun map and if no one else were gonna do it, I could, but it would probably be better (and quicker) if someone else did.

I like this idea. Perhaps, you could call it Dragon Map or something like that...I dunno...
Why are you wasting your time by reading this?

It might actually make a decent map. But I need to see some real images on it first. And I can't see anyone one like Pepperonibread or WidowMakers doing it.

Its a decent map and it's been suggested many times but i think so far copyright has killed hit. Nothing to stop a compitent carto who thinks they can get the copyright though.

Why is this in the bin? Shouldn't it be in the ideas and suggestions sub- Forum?

Darn, guess this is dead.
But... It was so artistically done.
