This will be the Elder Wand League (yes similar to allspark/but different)
There will be 36 players playing many games
The league will have 7 "book releases" based around the 7 books of harry potter
The Philosophers Stone
The Chamber of Secrets
The Prisoner of Azkaban
The Goblet of FireThe Order of the Phoenix
The Half-Blood Prince
The Deathly Hallows
Each player will play one game for every chapter in each harry potter game. Yes for those who know the books well that is alot of games
To keep this open to freemium i would like to run 4 games at a time.
Gameplay:
Each game will be sequential 6 players no fog. the other settings will be randomised with each game.
Maps to be used: These maps will be the ones that i will pick at random to play
Classic, Africa, Alexander's Empire, Ancient Greece, Arctic, Asia, Australia, Battle for Australia, BeNeLux, Brazil, British Isles, Cairns, Canada, Caribbean Islands, China, Discworld, Eight Thoughts, Europe, France, Germany, Global Warming, Great Lakes, Hong Kong, Iberia, Indochina, Ireland, Italy, King of the Mountains, Malta, Middle Earth, Midkemdil, Mongol Empire, Montreal, North America, Netherlands, NYC, Philippines, Portugal, San Francisco, Siege, South America, Soviet Union, Tamriel, USA, WWII Eastern Front
All games will be completely random, from maps to opponents. so lots of variety will be here.
as this league will go on for a while (many months) if there are any new gameplay setting they will be analysed and voted into active play
To avoid long play in games that become build up games. at a round determined by me the game will be called off (i will give at least a 5 round warning) and the points will for the game will be worked out using the AJAX BOB strength analyser. and the league will move on.
Deadbeating. its enevitable that it will happen. i will get a waiting list. and possibly even shrink the league to 30 players. if you deadbeat a game, you will be penalised (see scoring) if you deadbeat 2 games you will be kicked from the league and a new player added. the new players score will be worked out (see scoring)
Scoring:
Each game will get you points as follows:
1st : 5 points
2nd: 3 points
3rd : 2 points
4th : 1 point
5th : 0 points
6th : - 1 point
Deadbeating : - 5 points
new players to the league will take the average of the points of the whole league.
Winners
Each book release will have a winner (the person with the most points)
there will also be an overal Elder Wand Winner
Finnaly at the end of the league, there will be a celebration game with every book release champion and the Elder Wand league winner, just for shits and giggles!
So yes 36 players are needed (freemiums must dedicate all 4 games for this league)
