I have seen games played online where you can only see the armies of countries bordering your own. I didnt particularly like that game, but it might be better implemented here on CC. Could get interesting with team games.. makes communication (intelligence gathering if you will) much more important. People can hide gather large forces just out of your sight. However, this cant really work with the game log the way it is.
Fog of war would rock. I helped design Victory (If anyone's played it here) and that was very similar to Risk/Axis and Allies with the major difference being fog of war.
You know other types of units would be cool too. Air, Ground and Naval units could be adapted to the system already in place.
Guess lmao, this is going to be a whole new game by the time these idea's are used, i mean cant see armies? lmao, how about cant see the countries?, then we can just wonder about and kill like plants and stuff?
if hidden armies are implemented it only should be an option for players to use, not for all the games on the site, the players who create games an offer matches has a choice to pick that as an option when they create a game, but leave the other options available as many would not go for this, but some would, the power of choices, it's a wonderful thing.
Well if only 15% of members would play with hidden armies then it's not worth programming. I have a lot of stuff on my to-do list that would benefit 75% or more.
Thimble, why don't you just make an agreement with your opponents to place blindfolds on your faces and take them off during the attack phase?
