So, rivers in all directions look very VERY impossible. In fact, there are rivers between all continents. this is like splitted maps, like USA one, or a map of island regions, like Philippines... they are easier to get playability, but so you can make them these other ways, because all these rivers, well... as I said, very strange.
Again, do you have permission to do this? This looks a bad project from start, you dont have names, the ones you have are terrible, and the whole thing looks strange. So, maybe its better consider a map of a real region, so you dont get copyright problems, names are easier, and you can get something more simple.
It's based on a series of books, I'm not responsible for where rivers are or names. I haven't named anything yet, but I would keep the majority of names as they are representative of the books and hold meaning to those that have read them.
As for permission, as I mentioned in my first post, it is covered under the GNU Free Documentation License. I assume it's okay to use, I could be wrong.

I've learnt from previous map making efforts, not to get carried away on making it look pretty before making it look playable. It would look a whole lot better if I continue its development.

Maybe we should work on it together? We could use the map you provided?
