well, that chicago prohibtion map is sort of mafia. can you play off that?

No, Mafia would mean you hold all town you get +3 doc heals itself +1 or others if held with itself both mafia results in hurt to all unprotected towns, cop hurts mafia. So people hurt each other.

Ok I cant make maps, or anything but i got an great idea.

Main Idea's:

As i'm a big fan of Final Fantasy i would like to see a map off Spira (The World In Final Fantasy X/10) I think all the final fantasy fans would enjoy it. Any1 intresteded makeing it?

An Conquerclub map of Final Fantasy XII (12) Would also be nice.

Sub Idea:

Well, i love maps as World 2.1 Large and not to confuseing/complicated. So i was thinking if any1 could make a new big map. This Time Of The World of World of Warcraft. I'm no fan out of the game, but i would surely love to play a new big world map:)

The board would be easy to turn into a map, I would begin it myself if i wasn't working with Tack on Periodic Madness, and by my self on Calabria. If anyone would like to start it, i would be happy to lend my feedback

Not sure you'd get permission. This game is, btw for those who don't know, a fantastic board game. I've given some thought on how to take this style of game and possibly adapt for the gameplay mechanisms here but don't have time right now for it. It is interesting what you can do with enough creativity.

yeah, i have no idea how much we'd have to change about it to make it not copyright infringement. Definately would be an awesome map. and Di Siedler Von Catan is the only game i like as much, if not more than RISK.

Well, I think an Easter Island Map is a good idea. This one seems kind of small to me. I think smaller than most demand. But could it work? Absolutely. The graphics need a lot of work which I think you realize.

You can resize photos using a lot of programs. Not sure what you have, but there are free programs for both mac and pc platforms as well as website that will do it for ya. Check out the map foundry tutorials section for information on various software and such.

Well, zimmah is correct in that you would need to get permissions. You could do something along that sci-fi vein and make it generic if you don't feel like going the permissions route. This will likely get moved I think, but interesting idea.

Both are under construction. I believe that both are in the Map Ideas sub-forum though I could be wrong.

Basically map ideas start either here (as just ideas like yours) or if someone has a map in the map ideas sub-forum. Once they are approved as ideas they are moved to the general map foundry for further work. But search for each and you'll find the threads.

if you get copyrights or just look into it and see if it is at all possible then i say give it a shot! and i think you would get the support of bryguy! and the rest of the foundry.

yea as everyone has said, there are copyright issues, and you need permission. At one point, coleman (i think) made a thread for star wars maps, but that got locked and unstickied cause of owenshooter spamming it to death

i am really bad at photoshop and such, but i can do the XML and i can also give some tips about gameplay and such, i read the Dune Series so i pretty much now some things about this fictional planet
