Ahoy,
Just letting eveyone know that we expect to get all the recently Quenched maps up within the next few days. Lack is currently working on a enhanced Mapmaker Tool with a "map inspector" feature...that we can all use...which hopefully will make less problems for us Post-Quench. We'll run the maps through it and see if it...and the maps...work!

Yeah - I stopped checking a while ago. I figure I'll be browsing games one day and happen to see it loaded. Ah well.

It's the feature map in my final tournament. I sorta need it loaded soon. Hence my constant moaning about it.

Haha, well Lack and Yeti are trying to work on getting out a Beta version of the Map Inspect, so we can at least use that. It's up on the priority list. I hope soon everything will come out...

September of 2008? Good luck with that...
September 2020 might be a more reasonable goal.

Just out of curiosity, is this map in any particular priority?
'Cause I read in the
Ratings Reloaded thread that they're not installing new maps in large batches anymore, but one by one, and that the British Isles revamp would be first.

If by inhabitable zone you mean uninhabitable zone, then no.

correct. You cannot occupy the central region whatsoever. You have to battle around the outside perimeter.

I just noticed that there isn't any mention of the central zone being impassable, though I seriously doubt anyone's going to make that mistake. After all there's no name on that big, grey, area, that should suffice right?

I would think Viking. Some things are just obvious.

just the standard, "Looking at the new map inspect, then they'll load maps"
