Thanks for the comment, the mortar, along with reinforcements and artillery, are the "orders" terits in the upper right of the map, where the red crosshair is. Orders can be accessed through each side's respective bunkers (i.e. German bunker attacks German mortar)superrufus99 wrote:just a minor question. I can recognize bunkers, trenches, foxholes, and machine guns but where are the mortars? Are they in the bunkers? Would you give me a map grid for one of them please?
Thanks.
I think you mean left?Incandenza wrote:Thanks for the comment, the mortar, along with reinforcements and artillery, are the "orders" terits in the upper right of the map, where the red crosshair is. Artillery can bombard any space except the bunker, so theoretically, you can kill your open everywhere until they have a last hold out in the bunker, in which case you will have to get across no mans land and ferret them out the old fashioned way.saaimen wrote:So... It's possible that games get stuck? If someone has an Artillery region, he can keep bombarding the bunker so that noone can get him out of there... Right?
I'm also curious whether multiplayer games could be as good as 1v1's on this map... But hey, gameplay's passedAnd the graphics look great! Keep up the good work
Quiet, you.yeti_c wrote:I think you mean left?Incandenza wrote:Thanks for the comment, the mortar, along with reinforcements and artillery, are the "orders" terits in the upper right of the map, where the red crosshair is. And I quoted you - just to make sure people could see that you can't tell your right from your left - and then they can laugh at you - or even better - they could point and laugh!!Incandenza wrote:Quiet, you.

Weeeeellllll..... do you have any graphic comments?MrBenn wrote:Back on topic
it is not the case, they can be 'entered' from behind or on top or even from the side.asl80 wrote:just a quick one ... maybe already mentioned, but it seems by way of the graphics that the machine guns can only be entered from behind, is this correct? i think it would be good if this was so in any case.
ok, no worries, seems good i suppose.mibi wrote:it is not the case, they can be 'entered' from behind or on top or even from the side.asl80 wrote:just a quick one ... maybe already mentioned, but it seems by way of the graphics that the machine guns can only be entered from behind, is this correct? i think it would be good if this was so in any case.
Any progress on the xml upgrades inc.?Incandenza wrote: XML and related issues
Conditional XML would need to be implemented
Killer neutrals respawning to a different army count would need to be implemented
Territory names in the XML (and drop-downs, obviously) will follow a "Coordinate" "Evocative Description" format, i.e. "A-3 German Front", "B-7 German Bunker", "L-3 Allied Machine Gun", and so forth. Orders territories, having no coordinates, will simply be "Allied/German Mortar/Reinforcements/Artillery", as appropriate.
