Danyael wrote:alright its taking awhile....... To do this i have spent alot of time on it to make it look as close to spain as i can
Please note
things to do
crop
this will be the texture of the map
i will be adding the political borders soon
canary isl. will be inset will be place in bottom left corner and legend on lower right corner
title top right
I think routes will work best because i think its might be a shame to gray scale this one
but i'll try it out both ways
with is being the texture there is a few step to do before it place the border etc on but then its gray scaled for relief (so you cant see the the beauty of this onesailorseal wrote:I am not sure how territory borders are going to look with the current texture, maybe lower the paint brush affect.
That's cool, as long as it it 100% computer it should be fineDanyael wrote:with is being the texture there is a few step to do before it place the border etc on but then its gray scaled for relief (so you cant see the the beauty of this onesailorseal wrote:I am not sure how territory borders are going to look with the current texture, maybe lower the paint brush affect.
as well i did this all with the paintbrush on artrage2 so its hard lower something that is not just an effect
if you look at the newsletter you can see a rough look at what the outcome will kinda look like but it will be a lot bettersailorseal wrote:That's cool, as long as it it 100% computer it should be fineDanyael wrote:with is being the texture there is a few step to do before it place the border etc on but then its gray scaled for relief (so you cant see the the beauty of this onesailorseal wrote:I am not sure how territory borders are going to look with the current texture, maybe lower the paint brush affect.

TNBDS
When your map has met all these requirements, could be moved in the drafting room.To be considered a Working Draft a project must be more than just an idea; a Draft should have a clear thematic focus, a plan for how the gameplay will work, and a basic image which should include:
1. Territory Labels - temporary names or numbers will suffice, and are always open to change.
2. Borders/Paths/Impassables - it should be made clear where territories do/do not connect.
3. Bonus Areas - where combinations/groups of territories will award a bonus, this should be indicated on the map.
4. Legend - speculative bonus values and explanations of any attack rules or gameplay features.
Draft images should not be larger than 630x600px (small image) or 840x800px (large image).
