Dungeon-type map (Abandoned)

This is a map i made and i can't really finish it. I don't have the right tools. So this is an open invitation to anyone who wants to take the challenge and see if you can really get this map going.

I don't have any bonuses, cards or anything like that.
The map is below and i give anyone permission to anyone who wants to try to make it.

(It takes a minute or so to load)
The Grey areas are paths, not territories.

Nothing in particular, and there are supposed to be alot of connections, that way its harder to keep a bonus. This makes a game last MUCH longer. I personally think that after some one really starts to inprove it, it'll be an awesome doubles/triples map.

I know it would need a HUGE makeover, but i just wanted to bring the idea up and see how people like the layout.

Looks like CCU in the way for me. Would need a lot of work from someone IMO.

It looked good, but I agreed it could use some working on. Unfortunately, I'm not sure exactly what would make it better. Oh, and did you have to save it as a .bmp? It took my comp like 2 minutes to load it

EDIT: After looking at the map, I've decided it kicks ass. As long as the layouts don't need too much tweaking, I'd be happy to add names and such, if people like the map enough.

Ok, i really want to get a map up like this one, so i was thinknig maybe a dungeon theme? I really suck at making the map, but maybe someone has good tools they can use and make this look good. I'm not sure how long ago Deesotilio made the post above, but maybe he can still do the names.

I think alot of people like the layout, but as anyone can see it lacks detail, graphics ect.

So maybe i could get a team together, someone to design the new version and someone to make names. Anyone interested in making the most kick-ass map in CC history post and let me know.

Come on, with the right team we can do this!

Well, we could always give it cheesy dungeon names, like in that old SNES Dungeons and Dragons game. The whole thing took place in a network of sewers and such below a city, and there were lots of tunnels like that one, prisons, etc.
The game was horrid, though, so I'm definitely not suggesting we name it "DND MAP LOL," but I was thinking a theme like that would be pretty smooth

Yeah, someone really needs to get that dungeon of drakanor map forged. The one directional borders are genius.

Hmm, maybe i can get the creator of that map to help me with this one.

I can picture the map in my head, but i can't put it on the computer very well.... I see dark red floors, bar gates as the doors to different territories, shackled skeletons in the corners of different rooms to make it look good, spider webs, armour suits holding pikes.... If you picture it in your head it looks really good. So all we need is someone with a good imagination to put it on paper.

I really like the idea behind this map also. These stripes have to go though. I prefer just slightly textured backgrounds - nothing that over powers the whole map.

Nope. Still too gaudy. Now it's hard to see the light black line dividing room borders. And the bright stripes don't do anything for the "dungeon" theme. Should be darker. Looks like your using photoshop? Try filling with a solid color, adding some monochromatic noise & maybe bluring or something.

Edit... Here's an example... just to provide a different angle.
