There are plenty of fantastic team players who would love to partner a low ranker IF that low ranker has some kind of messenger service and likes to communicate turns. It works well for both parties. The high ranker gets more points, the low ranker picks up some tips and wins more.DukeDagmar wrote:why are they always full of captains and colonels on one team and a bunch of privates on another. Randomize it or something to give a fair advantage. I mean sure i've won a game or 3 against these odds but still, getting stuck with two or three guys who can't tell their cannon from a cavalryman is disheartening.
Also on a side note, if this has been argued before then my apologies as this is my first posting.
To put a final couple of notes in here. You shouldn't join and wait for a team. Find people and all join together. Many of us have tried it a couple of times, and been burned by a random. I've also found a partner or two who were low ranked, but could play, or just listen at least.DukeDagmar wrote:why are they always full of captains and colonels on one team and a bunch of privates on another. I like playing against good teams, more points if I win, and less points loss if I lose.

I wonder why they don't randomly distribute the players into teams when people play football, soccer, or basketball. It would be a lot more fair if they divided up all the good players so the crappy team would have a chance.
