Thanks. The program I used to render the protein couldn't make it into a higher resolution. So I'll just need to work on this, remove the fuzziness manually. But I'd like to get all the other details worked out first.danoprey wrote:Looks great!
One graphical issue is that in the large image it is a bit fuzzy. Do you have a high res image of the protein?
I'll fix that in the next update.slowreactor wrote:Definitely like the new background, adds a new dimension to it.
IMO though, the background should not protrude into the legend. It is separate from the map, after all.

Well, I believe I have some nice gameplay features on the map. The map should be great for 3-5 player flat/no card games, since there's lots of features that should help keep the game from stagnating into a build war.I think that may be a hurdle that you have to overcome. You'll need to have your map stand out, and answer that question definitively why people "should bother."

I could try it, although I might rather just redo the territory glows so they are more noticeable. I think if I darken the background further the microscope would be hard to see...danoprey wrote:Maybe tone the background down a little so that you can see the territory border colours more easily.
Something like a black fill at opacity 10/15%?
