Counting does not give you a strategic advantage. What you do with the number does. If you truly believe it gives you a strategic advantage, be thankful you can save time counting now.kroovi wrote:this feature only narrows the gap between strategic players who calculate their every move, to those who are sloppy, and do not, but have someone to do it for them...
Looking at a Classic Shapes game I have going, Game 5982067, the number under Due does include all the troops you will get when your turn starts. BOB breaks it out into amounts for R (regions or territories) , Z (zones or continents) and RB (I forget what that means), while the site just totals them up.jonty125 wrote:It would be nice if under Due you also got territory bonus included like if you held the whole of Africa on World 2.1 under Due the 18 bonus troops appear. but without it still a great update!
Read 2 posts back. Counting != strategy.AzureX wrote:PLEASE TURN THE NEW STAT BAR OFF! I really dislike it and it takes the fun out of the game. People need to take the time to figure what is going on in a game. Not get spoon fed the stats. PLEASE REMOVE.
I don't mean to seem bitter, but, if it doesn't get removed.... I doubt I will renew my subscription. I play this game because of the strategy, I really enjoy that aspect of this game. A large part of that is now gone.
I agree. This is why that bar should not be available to anyone. It takes the strategy "OUT" of this game.kroovi wrote:this feature only narrows the gap between strategic players who calculate their every move, to those who are sloppy, and do not, but have someone to do it for them...

Yes indeed. To really help all these "strategists" save some more time, maybe we can see what our next 5 dice rolls (attack & defense) will be so that we can decide whether to attack or just deploy.AzureX wrote:I think we really need to have a stat bar that tells us the odds of beating an adjacent territory. That sounds cool, lets add this feature as well.![]()

You've always been able to count territories. It still doesn't show troops.SamSosa99 wrote:Good update but should we really be able to see how many terrs and troops an opponent has in a fog game
