I have been playing risk on facebook.. and have got addicted to it... ! checked out this site a couple of days ago... and this is really good... keen to get started and get going...
Hello all... really glad I found this site! I've been a long time Backgammon player and really enjoy board/stradegy games. Altough I only remember playing Risk one time with a bad connection on the internet. Believe me I really feel lost here and would greatly appreciate any and all help I can get!! Truely seems like a great bunch of people here who would be wonderful to spend time with!
Would love to get in your next class!! Thanks in Advance
I am a pickle. I have played some online risk before but i am having a bit of trouble to win games on conquer club, especially on settings with high incomes and nn-escalating card settings. Players seem to be very aggressive in attack and im not sure how to respond. Any advice on this would be much appreciated. As u can see im only a lowly private pickle at the moment.
Hi, I've been playing for a little less than a month, and would love to learn some basic strategy. I think I have the basics down, like attack odds and such, but I want to make sure I'm not holding onto any incorrect assumptions or bad strategies. I'd also like to learn how to play some of the more complicated maps, and also strategies for assassin and doubles, if those classes are offered. Thanks!
Hi, I am new to this site and am learning quickly that my strategic mind isn't as strong as I thought from just playing games with friends and family. I am looking for any training/help I can get.
Hi there, I have completed 6 games and am currently playing 4. I would like to join the society of cooks to improve my game/strategies. How do you join?
hi mountainpark here. 10 games in, lost 10! I did play some fog of war ( which I did pretty well in) and a fort game ( which I was totally clueless in). Mostly team games A big problem seems to be joining a game late, and be teamed up with other beginners who don't read the game chat or work as a team.
currently looking good in 5950406, and OK in 5957371.
any advice on the latter gratefully received ( do I fight back red in africa, or head south into the claims, with some spoils?)
Losing every game is getting to be a drag though, as I see my score slowly slide downwards.
Hello! I have just been promoted to private. I can count my complete games on one hand, and I haven't won one yet, but my most recent one game right down to the wire. I'm a big fan of the standard map, and I'm enthusiastic about learning as much about good gameplay as possible.
Hi, I'm a relatively new player. I've always had a knack for strategy games, and when I discovered CC, a sort of dream was fulfilled in being able to play a Risk-type game without the clutter or huge chunk of time.
So I've played a few dozen games, and won just a couple. There are some strategies that I just picked up intuitively, and some more that I learned by watching others play. But there's still a lot I don't know about the game. I want to get a competitive edge, as always, and thought this would be a good place to look. I read a lot in the Strategy section, but a lot of material seemed to be written for people who'd gotten the hang of CC after a hundred or two (or more) games.
Specifically, I'd like assistance with parts of the game I've been uncomfortable with. Escalating spoils. Irregular maps. Manual troop placement. Team games and Assassin games. Limited reinforcements and Freestyle turns.
Names pointblank, have some experience playing on cc, but am looking to refine my strategies and pick the brains of those successful teachers out there!
I like the step up here and I'm definitely considering going Premium already. One question (which I'll post in general after some days): Is there a way to have a timezone specific game? I'm in India and thinks it makes sense to play games with people who are up when I'm up as oppose to having people wait while I'm sleeping. Thoughts?
I lost 4 in 4, but finnaly succeeding in my 5th game, I think I can be a successful cook. I`d like to take some classes because I still have some questions about the playing system, and I need to answer them before I launch my Japan map(still in draft part). Oh, and merry christmas to all.
