I had my reservations about allowing him in the tourney, but was hoping that my past experiences with him were not indicative of how he is. Unfortunately, he joined the tourney with no intention of reading or following the rules, so he's not in it any more. I'm glad to see everyone else is still playing by the rules.

Done. Once we figure out how we're going to score the 3rd crusade game, the points will show up.

Having not followed the game whilst the rules were broken, or seen who had what when, my opinion of the "fairest" judgment on the game would be one of the following:

1) Replay the game without ETROPAL. You really can't decide who finished where based on a game that was decided by breaking the rules.
2) Hand ETROPAL 0 points, then take all the remaining points and divide them evenly between the remaining 5 players. There are 27 points at stake in each game, so give each player 5 points for finishing in the fashion it did.

As a side note, I would recommend the divided points in all instances of players killed by nukes or for objective wins (example, LoVo won by Objective so he gets first, all eliminated players score their position, but all surviving players split the pool of points).

Number 2 looks like the easiest solution.

I likewise wasn't following the game when it happened.

And I am not so concerned about the scores, I come here to play AA with you guys. So whatever happens is fine with me.

To me, the fairest option would be a replay. If everyone is premium, I think it wouldn't be too bad if it starts soon.

If not, then denominator's second option sounds fine as well.

Yes. Scores are fun, but are not the more important part. Playing AA with friends is :-)

Hey Jake, since a bunch of people have pointed this out, if you put everyone in the BCC field, when they hit reply it will just go to you ;)

And yes Oliver, AA games are straight point sinks for me. But too much fun!!!

It's [game]6487981[/game] and yes, he conquered several terriories in the same turn. I think he needs to retir to his holdings in the previous turn and allow those territories to be retaken. And during this turn the rest of players will just reinforce.

Specifically, it's this turn:

2010-02-23 05:46:20 - acores2005 received 3 troops for 4 regions
2010-02-23 05:46:30 - acores2005 deployed 3 troops on San Rafael
2010-02-23 05:46:41 - acores2005 assaulted Corte Madera from San Rafael and conquered it from denominator
2010-02-23 05:46:50 - acores2005 assaulted Tiburon from Corte Madera and conquered it from denominator

Even though it's not a blatant rules breakage, it put me on the ropes for elimination and I was unable to recover. The other players agreed on a fair method to balance it out:

2010-02-24 09:07:16 - Mitchivic69: acores shud miss a turn
2010-02-25 15:37:02 - denominator: Well I'm out now.
2010-02-26 05:28:06 - Mitchivic69: acores took his turn and handed in spoils this is a joke
2010-02-27 07:41:13 - SuicidalSnowman: ...
2010-02-27 10:09:38 - eddie2: f this he done it in another game seems to me low ranks are doing this to get points f*ck it lets all take him out stuff what jake says but why lose to a cheat once he is out we go back to normal

He's now cashed my spoils (a mixed set) that he shouldn't have gotten in the first place and seems to be ignoring the game chat. I think eddie may be onto something here - it does seem to be some of the lower ranked players breaking the rules to take advantage of some free points.

Guys, thanks for bringing issues to my attention. Sorry I've been incommunicado, was out last week and didn't get to even take my turns. Oliver, See the third post - I have updated that with a running tally of "penalties" to games, could you ensure that the score table matches those, at least for the completed games?

For San Francisco, keep trying to play it as AA and I'll see what happens. I know that him taking out denominator made a big difference in the game with the mid-turn rainbow cash.

That one is a bit difficult to see, but eddie2 killed 9 of my troops in [game]6433780[/game]

2010-03-03 21:26:13 - OliverFA reinforced Lake Minstello 7 with 5 troops from Imperial Dynasty Castle

2010-03-03 21:26:29 - OliverFA reinforced Imperial Dynasty 4 with 43 troops from Imperial Dynasty 7

2010-03-03 21:34:11 - eddie2 ended the turn

12+2+19+5+2=40, plus the one troop in Lake Minstello 7 at the start of turn makes a total of 41.

However, now I have only 32 troops in Lake Minstello 7.
