remember you? He'll more than remember you. He will probably change the pet name that he has for his re-occurring, bloody, pulsating hemorrhoid from "festering ass lump" to "SneakySheep". Yep, you are getting him real good!SneakySheep wrote:

It's been a while since I've heard of someone doing this. If I remember correctly you will get shit for this. More likely if you do it repeatedly. First time depends on if he complains, but you'd probably get a warning I would think, if he does.SneakySheep wrote:can i leave 1 player with 1 Region and just not kill him?

Major/Severe Infractions are those that are more than just annoying, but are intentionally hurtful to a user, group of users, or the community in general. This includes but is not limited to: Cyber-bullying/Harassment, Bigotry, Personal Information Abuse, Account Sitting Abuse, Intentional Deadbeating, Repeatedly Holding Players Hostage, Serial Teammate Killing, Hijacking Accounts, Systematically "Farming" New Recruits, Illegal Point Collecting, Gambling, **Point Dumping** etc.
* Major/Severe Infractions follow a shortened vacation escalation scale of: Warning, One Month Vacation, Permanent Vacation.
There's nothing "wrong" with it, but one of the sure ways to get better is to carefully watch how those who are better than you play the game. Even if it means you have to take a few ass-beatings and lose 100 points, you stand to gain much more.Yeoha wrote:What is wrong with adding people to your foes list if they are better than you and you don't want to keep losing games to them?

you are truly acting like an idiot... this guy can now take you to C&A and use this thread as evidence of your breaking WRITTEN RULES. funny enough, many people have received more severe bans for unwritten/made up rules than for written rules. however, this is a written rule and you will receive a warning from a mod/admin in short time, at the least.SneakySheep wrote:(Edit) i no its in Unwritten Rules but there unwritten right?
enjoy being a jerk. anyone can place anyone else on their foe list at any time for any given reason. you do not have to approve of being placed on their foe list, it is their decision. grow up and end the match...-the black jesusMajor/Severe Infractions are those that are more than just annoying, but are intentionally hurtful to a user, group of users, or the community in general. Learn the rules. If you hold even 1 player hostage it qualifies as gross abuse and is punishable. It just takes more than 1 round of it to really be a hostage game.Metsfanmax wrote:Holding a player hostage once does not qualify as "repeatedly holding players hostage." Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits.
Right, but what's listed under "severe" infractions is repeatedly holding players hostage. This implies that doing it just once is not enough to earn a ban.jefjef wrote:Learn the rules. what will normally happen is that someone goes to the game and says stop holding the player hostage, then if the player continues to not end the game sterner action will be taken. Thus you are repeatedly holding them hostage and sterner action will be taken.Metsfanmax wrote:Right, but what's listed under "severe" infractions is repeatedly holding players hostage. On a textual basis, this is still incorrect. You aren't "repeatedly" holding them hostage just because a mod told you to stop - either repeatedly means more than one round, or it means more than one game. Nothing about the game state changed when the mod came in. Furthermore, even if it is "repeated," you aren't holding players hostage - it's only one player. If the intent of its inclusion in the "severe" infractions list is to indicate that just one instance of holding a player hostage is sufficient to earn a suspension, provided that a mod warning is ignored, then that ought to be more explicitly stated there.ljex wrote:what will normally happen is that someone goes to the game and says stop holding the player hostage, then if the player continues to not end the game sterner action will be taken. Sry i wasn't clear but in the situation i described that would be over more than one round where the mod said end the game and you continued to not do so.Metsfanmax wrote:On a textual basis, this is still incorrect.
