Hmm... I don't think I would like this option. It's taking too much of the risk out of the game.
You realize that playing doubles is still going by the original rules, it's just a permanent alliance is all. You can still attack the other player etc... Even as if they were an enemy.
Opportune-Moment
op·por·tune mo·ment n. A point in time well suited for doing something incredibly stupid.
I personally think that we should be able to fortify through teammates, in a real life situation one country would be able to bring their troops through one of their allies countries
Ability to fortify your troops through your teammates.
Specifics:
Let's use the example of having 4 territories in succession and you own territory 1 and 4 and your teammate owns 2 and 3. This suggestion would be for your 4 territory to fortify your 1 territory, thus being passed through your teammate and put onto, potentially, the front lines without the middle step being in the way. Call it "Team Chained".
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
More options for fortifications
Not sure if this was suggested before, but I did a search and couldn't find anything, though I could have overlooked something, but thought this might be a nice option and could be placed in at the same time as the "no forts" modification on the to-do list.
Thought of this about 1 month ago, but did not post. Really good idea, and makes sense. Why not. You are able to deploy your troops in any location, in your team mate's territtories or in your territories, but you can not reinforce linked but not adjacent team mate positions. In real life, allied nations can reinforce any point from any other point as soon as allied positions are linked. However, the current one CC has, it gives a nice challenge too. I am not uncomfortable with current chained, but an edition as an addition will enrich for sure.
I like this idea; the (few) times I've played team games it seemed to me like you should be able to fort through your teammates. This has been rejected as something automatically added to games, but maybe lack will accept it as an option.
