having the same bob issues & I was playing around with it & got locked with the 'hide menu on'
I tried various grease monkey version all with no luck
I downloaded TeamPlayer witch puts 2 mice on your screen & was able to access all of bob's menus with it
not the best fix but it will set your options back to where you want them

ON the 1st of April I lost Bob. I clicked update and have never seen it since. At firsat I thought it was an April Fools joke, but at this point in time, I am just totally and utterly lost. I reinstalled firefox, have a newer version now, but I simply cannot install Bob. The install button keeps blinking, no matter how often I try clicking it. Everty now and again, the Bob install page even turns into some strange script page. Can anyone please, please help? (I don't know anything about computers)

A quick and easy workaround suggested by LLLUUUKKKEEE is to post on your own wall. Once the menu shows "Wall [1 new]", BOB leaves it alone.

That didn't work for me & obviously people are still having problems with it!

Sorry for the weak suggestion. I have been following a few threads which have mentioned this problem and I forgot that the wall workaround was mentioned here already. Also, I took it at face value, without testing, because it seemed like it would work. Now that I have tried it, I see that the "Wall [1 new]" text is not showing up as I expected it would, so the menu is still disappearing.

Hide Menu isn't work right. I'm using 5.1.5 on FF 3.6.16 on Mac OS X 10.6.7. Once it's hidden, I can't get it to stay open to click anything. It hides again as soon as my mouse enters the menus. This is extremely frustrating. (It does the same thing on Windows XP.)

What browser are you using, and what version? What version of Greasemonkey? Have you ever installed BOB before?

Sounds good. The latest update references the feature, so I figured it was assumed fixed.

Do you have Map Inspect on? Go to options and turn that off first

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I really can't be arsed reading through 2 years of posts. ^^

Would it be possible for the Stats (Standard/Extended) to show the statistics for the snapshot which is currently being viewed?

I was wondering if there's a way to adjust an option so that the text map is always scrollable instead of fixed? I like using the standard text map a lot usually to clarify bonuses etc, but sometimes when it's hundreds of lines of code in maps like AoR, AoM etc, it's not such an enticing prospect, so it's nice to see the option to make it scrollable. But it always reverts to fixed, so I was just hoping to find some way to have it scrollable all the time instead of having to click on it every time (when often forgetting to do so until I'm taking ages scrolling down the page)

I love the snapshot to chat features. Very useful in team games. However, recently I tried snapshotting game 9082188, but a message box appears: "Too much information.. Sorry, can't take snapshot"

Is this because the map is too big? (First Nations Americas) Not sure why there's such a problem because earlier in the round my teammate was able to post his snapshot to chat and I was able to view it.

I'm using google chrome for mac.

Yes, the chatlines can take a limited amount of information. The First nations americas and a few others simply exceed that so snapshots in (team)chat cannot be made here.. I believe there is no easy fix here
