add a couple more options to the max # of players allowed
Specifics:
I'd like to see 12 and it works with all the current game types, 12 singles, 6 doubles teams, 4 triples teams, 3 quad teams.
increments would be fine.

Here's 12 distinct colours with different letters for "add color codes" red r green g blue b yellow y pink p cyan c orange o silver s maroon m lime l violet v drab d
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
You can do more than two team triples and quad games. Might make some cool tourneys also.
Just dropping by with a rock. However I have recently noticed that "S" seems to be consdered "slate" not silver. Wow is my face red.

That does open another colour option but we need a letter and discription that's different for silver.
Other: I think that mapmakers maybe should choose for themselves, based on how many start points/territories they have, how many players to allow. This could, of course, be debated in the Forge, but it seems that allowing more players on huge maps makes sense, while letting 15 people play on Doodle Earth might be ridiculous.
most of the maps are for 8 players max... So I would have to vote for no, 8 is ok... if there are 12 players then players that are last in 2 teams X 6 players will most-likely be dead before they even take their turn.

it's an option.. I'd like to see it implemented and play it in a large map like world 2.1, first nations americas, antarctica... etc.

This happens as it is for quads teams
[game]1675072[/game] 2018-08-09 16:02:06 - Mageplunka69: its jamaica map and TFO that keep me on this site
you have to use your best judgement. some maps are small and more than 6 players is too many . so the maps that can handle additional players will have a new twist. open it up and let the creator of the game decide
Can I get a confirmation on how high this is on Lack's to-do list? I understand it is a grueling process, but this is supported by 80% of voters in this thread and most of CC would like to see this implemented, I'm very sure of that.
Clandemonium would be awesome for these type of games! 4 trips teams, 3 quads teams could make for some fun games! Not to mention standard games on World 2.1, WWII Europe, Supermax prison Riot etc.!

however with the new supsersize maps comming, 12 players might be doable in the near future.
Doodle Earth is a bad map for 8 players yet it's probably one of the most fun gametypes.
People can choose whether or not they want to play on a small map with 12 people. I call making the first 12 player assdoodle when the 12 player upgrade comes out in 2015.
