I've also had problems with the dice. Almost every turn they are wrong. I'll roll 4,3,1 and my opponent rolled 5,3 and I win both? Then they roll 1,1 and I roll 6,3, 2 and I lose two lol. Dice are screwy!!!!

Just the graphics were backwards. If you saw a 1, it was really a 6. If you saw a 2, it was really a 5.

'cept the new dice are having a PMS day. Rolls of 3 - 4 - 6 are losing to single dice rolls of 2! Rolls of 1 - 3 - 6 are winning against rolls of 6 - 4!
1v1 gameplay with manual settings is a nightmare. 2 rounds and it's over. Points trap if I ever saw one. Can you change the victory conditions to require holding at least one group? Or the Finals for two rounds?
Unless, of course, this is a points free-for-all preying on unsuspecting players?

I think the xml needs fixing again. I just read this via BOB in someone's game:
all teams in Qualifier 6 (1) all teams in Group D and Group D Winner (3) 3 teams in Group D and Group D Winner (2) 3 teams in Group D and Group D Winner (2) 3 teams in Group D and Group D Winner (2)
Sorry, but that's a little ridiculous. The map says:
Winner and all teams in the same group = +3 Winner and any 3 teams in the same group = +2
You shouldn't be getting +9 for all of those. Having all teams should override having 3 teams, and should definitely not be all 3 combinations of 3 different teams. The map says you get +2 or +3, not a +9 for having them all.

Is there any chance we could make either of the tournaments bigger? Both of them are currently full and some people (me) haven't been able to sign up for either of them. :/

Okay, Night Strike, I've investigated the issue, and I can't find anything wrong - the XML checks out as well as multiple game logs. Winner and all teams in the same group overrides Winner and 3 teams in the same group and same for the runners-up, as coded. If you find a game log to the contrary please PM the game number to me.

I've restructured/reorganized the continents in the XML, so hopefully that will fix your BOB issue. In addition, I've added a max="2" element to the starting positions to balance out 1v1s. Sam has sent the files to lack, so with an luck, it'll be live soon

I suppose I will have to see how this plays out, but I know the one practice game I had was an unreal strategic battle
The three game set I had was also ultra competitive
I was extremely happy myself to the way it played and how competitive things were
Just have to see how this neutral based board plays I suppose

I've played it a bit and in my opinion it doesn't make sense, it's hardly possible to move over the board with all those neutrals and it's very hard to get a bonus to make moving easier. In my opinion this update totally killed the gameplay in 1v1.
