Rodion wrote:Blood Farmers extensions (I'll confirm with the players since it was done by PM - I prefer it done in the thread henceforth)

Mviola - 4 weeks (weeks 3, 4, 5 and 6)
Odeuminus - 4 weeks (weeks 3, 4, 5 and 6)
ckyrias - 4 weeks (weeks 3, 4, 5 and 6)
Link0983 - 2 weeks (weeks 3 and 4)
seechster - 2 weeks (weeks 3 and 4)
patrickaa317 - 2 weeks (weeks 3 and 4)

Blood Farmers had 15 money leftover from week 1 and 15 from week 2, so their current budget for week 3 is 230.

With all the extensions, they have - correct me if I'm wrong - 97 points for 3 more players (note that using all points would force you to only send 1 week contracts/extensions, as you would have money for week 3 but not for week 4).

Not (yet) resigned: angola, scottie and friesuschrist

Confirming that 4 week extension.

These are all on same salaries.

As of the end of this week uk massive, mattiwacklin and Jsnyder748 will become free agents.

The people who have had salaries offered to them will either confirm or deny in the thread.

How can you offer 5 weeks? They still have one week (week 2) on contract. I was under the impression until week 2 was over, the max extension was 4 weeks...

At the end of the week we finish week 2, so I can offer 5 weeks, the contracts dont start until the end of week 2.

'Week 2' will be finishing soon enough and I still see half (more than half?) of the managers haven't mentioned anything about renewals. What happens if nothing is said by player or manager in the thread? is it a 1 week auto extension?

Also, what happens if the player says they want Free Agency in the thread and there's no response from the manager? They'd obviously need a replacement player.

If nothing is said, player becomes FA.
If a player wants to become a FA, he will, as he has the power to resign or not. The manager will get a player through an auction.

I'll likely be looking for one or two FA's shortly, for those who are interested and want to keep it in mind before extending their contracts. ;)

I will be going into Free Agency. Tonka's Truck is a great squad; I just think I need a change of scenery to turn this slump of mine around.

Like the draft, players in FA automatically go to the highest bidder, yes?

Also, is there a scoreboard or chart of standings somewhere?

WILLIAMS5232 wrote:to clarify, i'm not so much concerned with the games, mainly just a list on rodions first post right at the top of the teams. and possibly a weekly standing. like;

team 1, player player player player.....
team 2, player player player player.....
team 3, player player player player.....
tea.........................................
.............................................
.............................................
.............................................
.............................................

week 1
team 1 0-2
team 2 3-0

sorry for the confusion. but yes, i understand that putting all the games on it would be more work than what would be fun.

EDIT;

and when i said matchups i was talking about something like;

week 1,

team a vs team b
team c vs team d
team e vs team f

good luck, i was told to pretty much go fu@k myself

I meant I assume it is still true that Free Agents cannot turn down the highest bidder if they wished to go to another team. We are soulless mercenaries, ya?

Yeah that is my understanding of it, otherwise people would make their own teams much stronger by getting with people you play well with, that part is up to the managers to decide on

Correct, your only free will resides in deciding to extend your current contract (if given the opportunity) or not.

I think I'll try my hand at Free Agency after week 2. Good bunch of guys, and I've not exactly performed best (as per everything, it's 50% luck and 50% strategy) but I'm really just wanting a non-random team game for a change.

I've not even heard from anyone in my team outside of games since the tourney started...maybe I'm contagious...

My gorilla trips team will go 3-0 this week. I've not heard from our manager so I guess I'm going to free agency. :D

Having heard from my manager and his enforcer, I am happily extending my contract. :D

Confirming extension here, for 5 weeks.
