I traded her badge for sex....no, I'm not proud of it.
I played the original game, and also the Anniversary version (the remake of the original). The first one is obviously a classic, but I enjoyed Anniversary more.
The new one looks like more of an action game. Anybody who had the shit scared out of them - or gave birth with relief after completing an almost impossible series of jumps - when playing the older games (and I haven't played most of them) should know what I'm getting at.
Eh, I don't have a console modern enough to play it on anyway.
is this the game they're making from the kickstarter money? seems awfully early to release footage like that.
Nope, it is not. This is a separate game that has been in development for a few years, and has been kickin' around in Ron Gilbert's head 30 years evidently.
that looks a lot like trine and trine 2. both are great games.

Could be similar. There aren't really physics based puzzles in The Cave though, it incorporates more Adventure-gamey elements like objects I think, in addition to each character having a unique skill (you play with 3 characters evidently in a run through). You could also play local co-op with up to 3 players, which would be great if I had a console but I'll be playing it on PC probably.

So I was thinking... they should make a Skyrim Star Wars game. A sort of no limit Star Wars RPG.
Are there any other games you would love to play that don't exist?
Obviously not answering the question, but Knights of the Old Republic is a game you might enjoy if you haven't given it a go.

I would like to play the Star Wars: The Old Republic as well, I think. I mean, I enjoyed the hell out of KoToR and KoToR 2, but I haven't ever played an MMO in my life. So, there's that. And from what I've heard, the majority of people on those types of games are rude little kids running around calling everybody "noob" and "fag" and other assorted colorful names. I imagine that if that was the case, I wouldn't enjoy it much.
I still question why they decided to take the series to the MMO platform, but I guess it's theirs to do with as they wish.

The thing that is good about MMO:s is that you get to play them with other people.
The thing that is bad about MMO:s is that you have to play them with other people.

Mmhm. I only played one small-time MMO back in the day, and I probably won't play another, mostly because I've shifted sporadic gaming periods that offline stuff is more conducive to usually. But there were a lot of fun ups and down when I did play.
