the game was meant to be fun with some freestyle beast... Why so defensive? Lighten up. It is only points... Scared you would not win? Everybody has a chance.
I agree with bruce, its about knowing your enemies time frame of usual playtime , location and patience as well as playing your sets to win...planning for being the last one to go, and being available when the next round starts...alot of different strats there ...alot of fun
I think I whined about 24hr fs upthread - a willingness to log on throughout the night, and being in the right time zone, and manipulating start/end times of rounds is just too important to really appeal to me. I'm not saying it's skill-free, just that it's not an even playing field and that factors other than skill and dice are too important for it to be a good judge of a player.
I agree, i would rather play a 8 man ass doodle manual freestyle, or a 6 man feudal ass game anyday ...just saying its a art like a quads doodle game with real fast teammates ♥ .....Im not naming names , but i know who id want to do it with

I don't think of it as "strat" per se... of course you have to understand how to deal with the settings in the most effective way, but that's hardly "strategy"... unless you're playing a football game, and you're able to snap the ball when the other team is on the bench is what we're calling strategy.. if so? then sure..

24 hour games are totally different. A noob can really wreck your game more so there than a speed game. In a speed game you can run. In a 24 hour game, you might not be around, people can go for stupid kills and hand the game to another noob who is lucky to be on. There are just soo many things that can happen.
