We need someone else to look at it. Fresh eyes might make the difference, especially since I thought this fix was certainly going to work.
This seems to be a similar issue I just posted to Armada, with the caching issues. We may have to wait until all active games end before opening it up again.
Cause, like I said, the territories are supposed to be starting as neutral but aren't. Apparently that's the caching issue that can only be cleared after all games are completed.
Yes it works right now, but we will wait until the active games are done. In the mean time I will be asking a few players here and there to continue to test it. If after a while the caching problem doesn't rear it's ugly head, I'll open the map again.
I think the connection between IAN Debi to Gidon could be more clear. How is someone supposed to assume that is a connection based on the map? I only realized it because of bob.

Sorry, it's actually not supposed to be a connection at all. Ironically enough I emailed about that error this morning in the hopes of updating it asap.

Okay sounds good.

How long does a fix like this usually take? Bob still shows that you can make that assault on this map. I'm assuming XML has not been updated yet and Debi and Gidon can still assault each other. Is this a correct assumption?

Good question. The corrected xml was posted by vj on the 20th.

Thanks Bison. The Naphtali bonus came straight from ian himself, as you can see below, but if others feel strongly as well I'm happy to discuss a change.
iancanton wrote:the layout is certainly unusual, though faithful to tribal war florida. the bonuses are mostly good, except for there being not enough differential between the larger areas and the smaller ones.
my first observation is that judah, which has 15 regions, is lkely to be a wasteland that no-one wants, unless u hike the bonus to something that really cannot be ignored, such as +10.
gad also deserves an additional +2 to bring it up to +7 because trying to occupy and defend such a high number of easily-accessible regions is risky when there are quicker ways to earn a bonus.
an extra +1 for nephtali, making +5, is in order. like gad, it has more regions than most other bonuses and borders one of the war zones.
Which XML did you edit the change with? I believe the one in this post was the update right before this one. It has the max positions correctly, and I don't think there was a change after that.

I'm not sure, v.j. might know. Can you tell if the xml in the post you linked to also has the Dibon/Ein-gedi fix? You say it has the max positions correct, so if it has that border fix, which is what it was supposed to do, then where could the problem be? They should not border each other in the final game.

Dibon does NOT border Ein-Gedi in that XML. That should be the one to send, then. Perhaps the wrong one was sent, or maybe blake accidentally uploaded an old one. Regardless, that's the XML to send.
Also quoting this for isaiah to see when he sends that XML.

When the xml gets up loaded can the name please be change to Tribal War - Ancient Israel, instead of just Israel? Thanks.
EDIT: I see where it went wrong. Don't send anything just yet, I'm fixing something.
