Death anxiety would be worse. If now, say you are 50 and you get cancer, you say, "well, wth, i had only like 20 years more anyway", imagine the anxiety over dying on a car accident at 80.

People would chose to have calmer, relaxed lives as well, as there's too much time left anyway. But all is relative, 70 years could mean too much or to little according how you look at it. Philosopher Bertrand Russell said he was very anxious as a kid because all the time he had left to live, what would he do with it?

I work in a hospital, so I see the ravages of aging everyday. An anti-aging treatment would be great, but that article sounds more like life prolonging to me, living longer just to age more...... No thanks!
