There are rules?????
Where would one find a list of these alleged rules?
You forgot the "0", so I added it for you.DoomYoshi wrote:When I'm 125, I want 2 180 year olds. Therefore, it's ok.
There are less and less people born each year, population will after peak start to decline.Artimis wrote:Living up to 500 years is not as ideal as it sounds.
Also there is the impact on society that this extreme procrastination of death would have, retirement ages would skyrocket, the population would bloat. Think Torchwood: Miracle Day, but stretched over a few decades.

Living for 500 years is awesome. It just depends on what you could do with that time.Artimis wrote:Living up to 500 years is not as ideal as it sounds.

Or you can build an android friend, like in Star Trek. But if you try to fall in love with it, it might rebuke you, once it discovers it is an android, and you have been hiding that fact from it.BigBallinStalin wrote:Living for 500 years is awesome. If you're worried about loved ones dying and you living, then you can still have friends at the 500 Years Association.

I work in a hospital, so I see the ravages of aging everyday. An anti-aging treatment would be great, but that article sounds more like life prolonging to me, living longer just to age more...... No thanks!BigBallinStalin wrote:Living for 500 years is awesome. It just depends on what you could do with that time.

i remember there being a guy who invested a ton of money in a 500 year plan but the bank wouldn't let anyone cash it out.betiko wrote:Things would self regulate. Also, there would be mortals and gods living together. Rich people would be able to have god-children. Also, just by investing 1000$ in their kid s saving account, by the interests will be huge by the time they become "teens" lol
I wonder if gods would have to behead each other to be the last man standing...
I thought that was the flawed life plan you were working on right now!nietzsche wrote: If betiko's scenario would be still possible, I'd work my ass off the first 100 years and then live the rest having sex with 20 year old poor girls.
