Comments:I left a message in game chat to finish game. He replied for me to read his wall. His wall states you must attack neutrals and eliminate all your armies before he will finish the game. He continues to make rediculous deployments and fails to make any kind of forting and ends turn where it is clearly obvious he can end the game at any given time. I left a kind message on his wall to finish the game off but he deleted it so others do not see the message compared to the message he wants you to read about which is eliminating all your armies. I refuse to deadbeat the game but at the same time CC has rules in place that prohibit players from dragging games out and not finishing them.

It's no spoils too..
This is not "playing it safe". He's gone far beyond that. He could easily take out Johnny.
Where do you draw the line then? 50-27, 70-27? How many turns ago was it overwhelming odds? He could drop all right now and still leave jr alive after attacking.
Jr could easily end it as well by diving into psu. If I was psu I would assume jr would do that. In fact, jr is not giving up, and holding on to a chance to win.

PSU 86 looks like he was just being very, very careful. He doesn't like to lose (well, who does?), and he wanted to minimize his risk. It's just a hyper-cautious play style, I think.
JohnnyRocket: he has joined a series of games in one time with me heads up and delays the ones he is winning so the ones he loses finish 1st to gain more points.

Well, considering Johnny had a single territory with 1 troop on it and he didn't kill it means he's just being a dick. He's been deploying on that single territory and PSU could very easily kill it at anytime and could have a while ago. So what if he deploys and loses completely? He has a large amount of troops to back him up.
j1mathman wrote:Doesn't it have 21 on it right now? When was it a single
Okay, sorry, it had 3 troops on it. It still doesn't matter. He should've killed it.
Now he borders the territory, round 21, in round 20, he killed a neutral to get there.
Psu is the one who has been doing more than dropping and ending.
It's not trench. He could have reinforced appropriately and finished the game many moves ago, given that he has 100+ troops advantage. It's not sensible cautious play; at best it's poor, at worst it looks like an unwillingness to finish the game. Some of the reinforcements are ridiculous.
he is deploying in places where he cant attack with the troops and forting nothing to the front line. He finally attacked the neutral last round between us and stopped. He spends more time writing comments in chat than he does making his move. If he would spend that much time on his turn the game would be over rounds ago. He has over 100 troops on countries he cant even use and doesnt fort them.

Johnny, your arguement just does not hold water. You say that I "finally attacked the neutral last round between us and stopped." Let the record show that I ONLY HAVE 2 TROOPS and if I continued to fight, I would be fighting your ELEVEN! Go ahead and check it out everyone. It would be 2 versus 11. Johnny is trying to con you all into believeing him. And, since when is it necessary to always put ALL your troops on the front line? Deploying behind the front is acceptable (and smart). You should be watching and learning Johnny, but instead you whine. Want some cheese with that whine? One of your few fringe supporters says that I have an unwillingness to finish the game. That could easily be said about JOhnny who refuses to come out behind neutral, and does whatever possible to get his opponent to attack. Significantly, each round that Johnny waits and does not come thru neutral, his chances of winning (yes, believe it or not, there is a probability that Johnny could win this game....and it is not infinitessimal) deminish. From my perspective, each round that I also do not attack the neutrals that separate us, my chances of winning get closer to my desired 99.5% chance of winning. Everyone has a different confidence level in playing CC. That is what makes some players better than others. In my 10,000 games I realized that you must minimize the downside....prepare for the worse case scenario. I would not like to be held hostage by someone else and I do not think that is what I am doing; I am playing smart. Others have played me the same way that I play, and I UNDERSTAND them. Johnny, your way of thinking (and your followers too) think too narrow.....to think that you have to finish quickly at the possible cost of losing , instead of waiting a few rounds for a higher probability win.....AND to think that you should place all your troops on the front, just show that your level of strategy and play is not very deep.

Yes, it's 2 v 11; however if you had fortified more realistically you would have been attacking with 123 instead of 23. It's not always advisable to place all your troops at the front, true: but when your opponent has one region and you have 100 troops advantage, and you're gaining 20 troops a round, there really is no reason not to risk a few more (which is the name of the game, after all). This is over the top IMHO.
You just dont get it do you? Can ANYONE support Johnnys arguement who wins a higher percentage of games than me? I have seen it all....I've lost 19 troops in a 19v1....i protect the downside.....and really: why wont Johnny come thru neutral? He just wants to create trouble.

I may not have as high a winning % as you.. but I have a heap more medals, proud of that too. Many here believe that is a better goal than a high win % anyway.. so get off your high horse, you are not special

Why wont YOU go through it?
Your attitude towards the CC game site as a whole and the players on this site is quite disturbing, you are holding him hostage with some deluded view that all must play the game under YOUR rules. It doesn't work that way, just another addition to my FOE list as far as I'm concerned.

*Nice wall of text PSU! * Your playstlye does not match what you are trying to say in your wall of text. It doesn't appear you are trying to kill your opponent or deploy/fort in such a way as to maximize your odds of maintaining an advantage over your opponent. *It just looks like hostage taking plain and simple.
