Welcome to the Conquer Club Doubles League!
This season will consist of 12 rounds (best of 5 games) and playoffs (also best of 5). For the regular season games, each round will be played on a different map. Please vote for your favorite map in your response to this thread. I will tally votes for the top 12. points will be awarded in the following manner.
Team Win: 10 pts
Team loss: 0 pts
kill: 1 pt
death: -2 pt
No Show: -10 pt

Notice that there is a penalty for not joining your games. if there is one thing that kills a tournament, it is no shows. So, for no shows, not only will you be penalized 10 pts and 4 for both teammates dying, but the other team will gain points for a win and kills. furthermore, this will only be allowed once (barring special circumstances), after the first time the team will be disqualified and kicked from the tournament.

I will be keeping team and individual stats the best I can. I am planning to break the league into 4 divisions (not sure how yet, maybe geographical region or rank. input on this would be appreciated as well) The top 4 teams in each division will move on to the playoffs, which will be a double elimination (best of 5) series. If you are interested, please post your team members, a team name, map preferences (1 vote per team member), and your preference for dividing the divisions (rank, region, or any other ideas). Any other suggestions you have for this league are also welcome. Good luck to you all!

Edit: forgot to mention settings: all games will be doubles, unlimited, escalating. This is up for discussion, but with the number of games being played, it will take forever if we play any other card settings.

Thanks for the response guys! I will be going through all of the teams and trying to organize details today. If you or your teammate is NOT premium, you will not be able to participate in this league for the sheer fact that there will be at least 5 games being played at one time. You may elect to find a premium partner if it is your partner that is premium OK, good luck to you all!

I'm still messing with the format a little but the league layout is on the first page. The first 32 teams that expressed their interest and TOLD me that they were premium, made it in. If this league works out well then I will make the next one larger for more people. I averaged all teams ranking to come up with one rank for your team. These ranks put you in your order and in your division. This is mainly for starting position. once the games begin, your ranks will change according to your league performance. Your divisions however, will not change. At the end of the season, the top 2 out of every division will qualify for the playoffs. I will be presenting trophies at the end of the season (digital of course....I'm broke) similar to say......the heisman and con smythe. These trophies will be named after the person to get them this season. In the future leagues, they will remain the same name. The games will begin shortly....I hope.
Until then, this is what you need to do:

Pick a team name if you haven't
Begin thinking of trophy categories for the season.
join your games promptly when games are posted
