Abandon Territory Option (with certain maps)

Post by stringybeany »

The first CD version included "ultimate risk" (which i played endlessly in every scenario) included an "abandon territory" option whereby you could make probing attacks and then during your unlimited free move could abandon territories by pulling your troops back into an adjacent country. The abandoned country was then assigned as neutral (rebels, in that game) or was given to an adjoining player.

Anyway, it added an interesting twist which might prove valuable here as an option, especially with certain maps.

Ive thought that this would make a good addition aswell.

Not sure if it should be one(army)on the neutral territory or automatically 3?

(really wish we could add the battle cards, storms, generals, and forts too!)

very interesting idea. I quite like it. Would it really just be like being able to fortify even the last army away? That coul really provide for some interesting game play. Esspecially if we ever make a civil war map.

Yeah I figured you had it planned for a map of a famous war. Also woul this only be for certain territorys? or would it always be an option? If you want I could fill out the fourm and put it in the xml thread for you.

This is actually quite a good idea. Obviously it would have to be an option, because it is unlikely to suit everybody, but I would like to see it introduced

Only reason I found conquerclub was becaue my ultimate Risk is no longer compatible. I do honestly miss the battle cards. nothing like defending against a frontal assault and watching the enemies massive army fall one by one...
