I've heard it described as "Israel's 9-11" and that's exactly what it is. For years to sputtering of missiles and the occasional casualty has grown so routine that the threat of terrorism was seen as a distant memory. That sense of complacency has been shattered. Hamas will have to be dealt with, and since Hamas loves using human shields, there will unfortunately be innocent casualties along the way.
