New Snapshots have been released. You can see them in the Overview Tab in which it says, "Snaps: [Last] [Prior] [Live] [Analyse] "
The main feature of this new Snapshots automatically does the following:
1. Take a snapshot when the game starts
2. Automatically take a snapshot after each players turn (non-speed games only).
Make sure in your Settings that Auto Snapshots is turned on.
You can manually take snapshots whenever there is a troop change in the map (i.e. it will block spamming the snap button if nothing has changed). Note that in foggy games it takes a separate snapshot for every player, so that everyone can see their version of the map.

There is now "Snapshot Links In Chat" in the Settings tab which you can set to Yes if you want these snapshots showing in the game chat. It is set to "No" by default.
The Settings tab is located on the left Nav menu under the Personal Menu.

Currently, the reasons for Autosnaps not happening are:
- speed game
- bot game
- more than 12 players (fog setting)
You can try to manually take a snap to 'fix' this if you are in these type of games.
The snapshots are also automatic and visible even if you have the control panel switched off.
Which is a bit weird for those people because they can't read snapshots.
Before automatic snapshots was an optional feature, shouldn't this feature also be optional ?
Someone sort this out. We're seeing annoying NewSnap posts on the chat in every game.
Whilst this may be a useful feature I can't even see an Overview tab and I certainly don't want every game full of these spam messages.
I can not find a way to switch these messages off. Can the automatich placing of these snaps be stopped somewhere? I have tried all ways in my settings and it has no effect. greetings Joan
I like having these but i'm in a 12 player fog quads game. team chat is almost impossible. It would be great if these snaps appeared in the log rather than the chat.

I agree, or better yet in a separate column, which can be collapsed if not used.

I second that emotion. Quads games with the same snap for each player on our team?? c'mon guys. clogging up the chat. Please move these messages to the log, at least. Thanks for trying, though.
This is a welcome feature. I use an iPad and don’t like playing with the panel interface on. I’ve had to manually go into it to take a snap and then go back out of it. It’s been a regular pain in the neck. It’s also caused very frustrating system issues. I hadn’t been aware that people were working on a permanent fix. So well done guys for this improvement. I know it’s a work in progress but very good so far!

My autosnaps are not working (neither at game start or after each turn) in my Super League games only. They're working everywhere else. This sucks - huge disadvantage, as I went ahead and joined all the game invites right away thinking that it would work.

Snaps that was working yesterday are now wiped.. even the manual ones i took for safety.. whats going on here?
i guess this is also super league-games..

Starting today snaps are no longer in "chat" but in "snapshots".
If you want them back in chat you have to change settings. (New feature today).
