I suggest making a game with max 10 rounds for example (countdown sytem). Some territories would bring the player that owns it a certain number of points while others would bring negative points. The points a territory brings or takes away from you would be written next to its name. Holding continents including some negative territories would bring you big points at the end. I think my idea could get somewhere. For example, take the classic map: Hold Brazil=-3 pts at the very end (10 rounds?), Venezuela=+1pt, Argentina=+2pts, Peru=-1pt, if you hold all of Brazil=+30pts, something like that. What d'you say? There would be more territories holding negative pts than ones holding positive pts. So to win points you would either have to get and hold continents or protect your positive point territories till the end of the 10 rounds. Bad or good idea?
That would cause too much chaos over trying to get certain territories and avoid others, and even if holding an entire continent gives a bonus. On the same note, if one person wins in less than the set amount of turns, they could get screwed over by having a certain territory that subtracted points from them. All in all... thumbs down. No thanks.
Also, I think there's a certain format that needs to be used for suggestions...
A mall? We're infiltrating a mall?! Who the f*ck defends a MALL?!
