The gov't is trying to shut down funding off a new jet engine, cool, so now they can stop taxing us so much. GE continues its progress however using tehir own funds. I wonder what kind of engine break through they're making. Maybe this will eventually lead to the discovery of warp drive?

as to the tax comment, HA!!!!! There will never be a willing cut in taxes. We will have to kill somebody (Harry Reid?) to scare those bastards into giving us a tax cut.

I wonder why they chose to call it a zombie jet engine tho. Seems only because it continues to be funded by outside sources even though the government has stopped funding it. Or maybe the jet engine's secret name is zombie.

Yeah cutting like $1,000,000 will probably only amount to about less than a penny worth of tax dollars per American so we probably won't get a break.

You don't get it. They would take the "savings" and spend it elsewhere like they did in the 2010 budget, when, in fact, there was no money saved, there would have been less in the deficit. Before we can give tax breaks, we need to get rid of the deficit.

Yes there is, but the most common evidences of the illiteracy of the posters is not knowing the difference between "your" and "you're", or between "there", "they're", and "their", so spell check doesn't help. Only passing 6th grade without cheating does.
