when do u start working ur strategy?

well guys out of curiosity i just wanted to know when any of you start working their strategy like do most of u start working on it straight from the start of ur 1st deployment or do u deploy randomly...hoping to get better positions for 2nd round and follow it by a tactic

That's a bit silly question. Does anyone just randomly deploy their troops on the first round? I seriously doubt it.

1st deployment. But that does not mean that I don't have to change strategy when I reach round 2, all depends what opponents do.

It depends what game types you're talking about, some of my tactics are started on round 1. But in quite alot of my games, i just work on being able to implement numerous tactics when the time comes.

(i voted for 3rd round, as the initial deployment to me, is more common sense than strategy.)

depends when i find myself in a position to implement a good strategy. Ideally turn one, but i've had to switch in some games when i was under too much pressure
