Comments: The game has been in a three-way battle for some time. SlayerQC attempted to contact the other player, coopa7434, by PM to initiate secret diplomacy intended to knock me out. Coopa7434 refused and reported the incident in the game chat.
Surprize, Surprize...there is no longer any secret diplomacy post on Coopas wall... Two explanations: Firstly, Slayer could have been trying it on but you posted in game chat that Coopa shold report it...dumb move, Slayer reads game chat, deletes and evidence disappears...if you had PM'ed Coopa asking that he posted it as a report then it wouldn't have been secret diplomacy on your part, just smarts... Second Scenario...game is tight and Coopa posts a leading comment...YOU fall for it and ask re secret diplomacy...the whole report thing may not have been Coopas intent but he did get YOU hot under the collar and es[pecially pissed off at the third player...win-win for Coopa... Either of the above could have happened but be aware that the second scenario is unprovable and therefore NOT against any rules; this is a cut-throat WAR site not a chess game with funnjy maps...Enjoy your time here but don't get all hot under the collar...it's a screwy place, so save the forum battles for those you can prove and win...

Ah but if you read game chat AFTER this accusation was lodged, Coopa states " maybe he didn't send me a PM cause I can't find it now...but he did post on my wall a couple of times..." SO (more) likely scenario #2...
I don't deny either possibility - I hadn't thought of the wall, and since coopa said PM I believed him. I was also inclined to believe coopa because Slayer has been extremely rude throughout the game and has shown an unwillingness to lose to me at any cost because of the effects of our relative rankings (which in my mind seems to be a rather vile and irrational sort of hatred). I didn't mention the latter in my initial post because I didn't think a bad attitude was relevant evidence and I was trying to be fair, but it is what it is. Anything is possible and I have no real evidence either way, so my complaint/accusation is hereby withdrawn. If there's a formal action I need to take on that front, please let me know.
Thank you all for the constructive help and advice. I really do mean that - it's obvious that there were some things about Conquer Club culture that I didn't understand when I signed up (you can see an earlier post of mine on this forum for more evidence of my naivete and general noobishness) and I appreciate that you've taken the time to help me get to the bottom of this.
I don't mean to be a martyr or AW or anything, but this is the last straw for me and I'm cancelling my upgraded account. DJ is probably right - this is a cut-throat site where anything goes - but I'm not interested in being part of a borderline abusive culture. I do not mean this in a derogatory way - if you like it here, and you like this style of play, then by all means stay and enjoy it and kick butt - but it isn't fun for me anymore. Good luck to all.

THANK YOU, just realised someone made a post agasint me...months after the fact. I WOULD NEVER do such a thing... I used to be a regular here chasing and dissing cheaters.
