Who are you?
I doubt i'm gonna lose any sleep over me, not being able to play some whiner!
Quit your bitching, it happens to us all!
Get over it, it'll get better

Okay… I think you need to calm down until your losing streak is over. Shit happens man. Just take a couple of days to cool off and I think you'll be fine.
In heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine... You got your things, and I've got mine.
Well... Ereandil and me have a winning record in doubles. 8 out of 9 games we won together, and that includes (5) 6 player doubles. So I would say your luck isn't as good as it used to be, but you shouldn't quit over it.
If you want to try and extend that doubles record, shoot me a PM and we'll start a couple.
If you're not having fun playing, it's a good time to take a break. Having just suffered similar loses lately, I feel ya... but that shit happens to everybody, so when the dice suck quit clicking attack.

I never get good dice, just varying shades of bad. That said, I went through a really lucky deployments phase a couple weeks back where I was given almost an entire continent in 4/5 games so I can't complain too bad.
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Stop using auto-attack.

Quite honestly I wouldnt mind something being done about the dice too. Not for everyone...just for me, and maybe people who complain...alot...and loudly...in forums. Why not we could buy shields and swords and spells and have a saving throw...and only fight player weaker than ourselves...an if things go wrong you can retake the turn...or save the game at various stages so you dont die...even if you make the most stupid mistakes.
Honestly I think this is why I like this game. Because you CANT do this. Its about maximising your wins and minimising your losses.
I feel for you if youve had a bad streak and as the others say...take a break.
But it happens, and Im suprised if you have been playing so long that this is the first time its happened...then youre actually quite lucky.
Attacking is like gambling...you should only do it if you can afford to loose (or have more money than the bank, mathemetically concerned which would mean having more armies than in all the games open.)
the chances dont change the more armies you have. 1 army can decimate 100000. its unlikly but its allway a 6:1 chance, irrespective. The improbablility of it is only apparant over a larger period of time...but nothing stops the improbable happening.
Maybe you should read the link about using the refresh button to win...it sort of goes in the other direction.
I have personally seen red fall 33 time in roulette. And 6 times 6 on my 21st birthday...
yes the dice can appear biased but over the long run they will even out. i'd like some1 who plays loads of games (wacicha maybe seeing as you are in the thread?) to analyse the dice. i wouldn't mind pooling some dice info because i really do think that overall the dice are fair.
if you do decide to quit then its a real shame. i only got to play a couple of games with you but it would be cool if you could stick around

Would you quit if the dice were equally as favorable to you? I think not. This isn't quitting over a lack of fairness, this is quiting because losing is an acceptable event in your life. Somehow, you didn't learn that losing isn't the end of the world.
For the record, I do not doubt your dice experience; it has happened to me too - both ways. I feel great glee when I benefit; and I feel only "aw darn" when I am the victim.
dude, i dont think you should quit. i had a really bad spell of bad luck september - december, but kept going, and now its back to normal and ive jumped two ranks hoping to rise more. keep going, get all the bad luck out your system
I'm kind of new here but ive played other risk games.. You can always change your strategy from offensive to defensive.. In other words force your opponent to do the attacking.. And when hes blown his military trying to attack you then you return the favor with much less resistance. And a higher probability of success. Thats what I do when im on a bad roll streak
The thing about having your ass kicked by the defender dice is that eventually
it swings in your favor and your attackers get to romp with few losses.
While it really pisses me off when a little three army territory fails to lose a single army regardless of the number of attackers, the dice always balance out someplace.
I have found that my dice suck like hell during the mid-afternoon to early-evening time period...so I play outside of those times...of course, I have not won a game in a while, but who cares...it is fun and inexpensive.
Eareandil, the way to good rolls is... magic voodoo rituals. Pressing the refresh button is a simple trick but more advanced wizards like me have all types of calculations and powers to judge how the dice will roll. Sacrificing a squirrel in the light of the full moon on friday the thirteenth works equally well.
