Goldeneye is the best game ever on 64, especially the 4 player local multiplayer mode.

Other than Goldeneye, Mario 64 and Zelda Ocarina of Time are all time classics. Mario Kart and F-Zero X are great racing games, and Diddy Kong Racing is an underrated . Smash Bros is the only really good fighter. Perfect Dark and Zelda Majora's Mask have a lot of fans, but they are not easy games to love given their predecessors.

Yoshi's Story.

The Black Yoshi became my internet persona. It could eat anything and had a lower pitched voice than the white Yoshi (although white is more powerful since flutter is better than bigger explosion).

Basement, pistols, 4 player, 1 hit kills, no auto aim, no radar. That's how the pros roll in Goldeneye. Oddjob obviously not allowed.

I prefer 3v1 grenade launchers in the Temple.

You'd be better off with remote mines. They're my second favourite once you know that you can detonate them with a press of A+B.

In the room with the grenades though once you learn the bounce even all 3 at once can't get you. Get the people coming from the big room through the hole in the top wall first. You can blast right through the corner door wall and then bounce down into the basement of the big room. If you missed on the first shot bounce up the ramp. No sweat, rinse, repeat. Sometimes exploisions don't kill which is the only thing that adds any difficulty. If somebody on the team gets that room first you need to create a mess of explosion in the basement so that all you can see is smoke. That gives you about 0.5 seconds to disorient them from screen watching. If you can't do that, just look at the floor and sneak up on them.

Goldeneye was never that kind of game for me, you actually have to be in the same room as people to play it. Camping over a weapon is another game's kinda tactic. I do like your thinking though- it is devious.

I won't try it, mainly because I don't know enough people who had an N64 and I usually boast that I could beat them with one hand behind my back.

Mario Kart.

Goldeneye was alright but sniper matches on Halo were way more fun. We used to play in pairs with two people upstairs and two downstairs.
