Why not have customizable rules for time limits, etc.?

Post by orange »

A good feature might be to change the amount of time allowed between turns and the amount of missed turns before someone gets booted from a game. I've joined several games where people join and then miss three consecutive turns. It drags the game out for 72 hours when it doesn't have to.

If there was an option, as there is for type of game, type of cards, maps, etc. we could make games with quicker deadlines for faster people, or slower deadlines for those who prefer a slower pace. We could also make it so that one missed turn kicked you out, or two. Three, in my opinion, is excessive, especially for 'repeat offenders' that join games only to drop out without ever taking a turn.

Anyone agree? Disagree? How hard would this be to implement?

think it's a good idea.

guess it shouldn't be too hard to implement. just 2 options more when you create a game.
