Due to an increasing number of members in CC, the team that helps keep the community running here has been restructured in order to serve everyone better. We are dissolving the "ModSquad" and the "Officer Corps" and uniting them all under the banner of Team CC.
There has been more significant reorganization behind the scenes but this will hopefully not change your interaction with the volunteers who help make this community what it is, it should just help us to keep things running more smoothly on the back end. Over the next few weeks, you should also see some cosmetic changes to help identify team member's roles more clearly.
All Moderators will still be able to lock, move, and edit topics, and help with basic questions. If you have a specific query, look for a team member that matches your topic, for example, ask a Cartographer about map "stuff". We hope that your stay at CC will continue to be enjoyable as we strive to make the site as user-friendly as possible. We are trying to make the team reorganization as seamless as possible, it may take a while for everything to be set up, so please pardon our dust.
Thanks for being members of CC and thank you to everyone who gives their time freely to make this site what it has become.
The whole CC team

For clarification: "Global Moderators" are the only team members who can lock, move or manage threads in all public forums. If you need rapid response to a thread or violation of the rules, they should be your first point of contact.
If you have any questions, please PM an appropriate team member for a fast response.

While on the topic, is there any way I can become a Mod? My plan is to put that on my college resume as a leadership role, a moderator on the most popular online RISK site, while retaining a high GPA and doing well on tests.
Team CC needs cheer leaders please post your application photo's on blitz's thread in IK (you know the one )
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.
Basically nothing has changed for you guys as far as who you contact; we just like to keep you all informed of what's going on. You still need to go to the global mods (old modsquad: steelhorse, jennifermarie, moz976 & wicked) for all forum issues, and to the others listed if you have a specific question about tourneys or maps or whatever. And still fill out an eticket for any tech support, feedback, or multi appeals.
