I feel like unlimited fortifications really changes the game dramatically, and for the worse. I'm talking here mostly about 1 vs 1 games, or team games with only 2 teams. In these games, there is an advantage to going first, and this advantage is exaggerated, dramatically, by unlimited fortifications, to the point that the game often seems all but decided before the second player/team has even taken a turn.
yawn wrong forum
a you dont have to play unlimited
b its an option
c gfy (i felt like it)
d get good with unlimited..and u can win starting first or second
As far as 1 vs 1 games go, I agree that it gives a pretty unfair advantage to the player who goes first. I don't agree that it does in teams games with only 2 teams however. I've won plenty of team games where my team went second and we were playing with unlimited fortifications.
It all depends entirely upon who you are playing and how well they know this game.
yawn...oh look, one of those legitimate Internet tough guys...and just 'cause he feels like it too
seriously though...im quite sure most people will tell you its an option. u dont have to play it if u dont want to so quit the whinging...
and lik ei said if u have a legitimite suggestion then use the right forum
i'm rolling with "he's who name shall not be spoken", and taking C. you don't have to play unlimited if you don't want to play unlimited. i mean, if you eliminate that, why not freestyle since some people feel others gain unfair advantages. thank you for your concern about my CC well being. however, i do not feel that unlimited fortification is a threat to my person.-0

Nobody's whining, I'm just throwing it out there for discussion, curious to see how others feel about it...in which case I'd have thought that General Discussion was the proper forum. I never for a minute thought that the option would be eliminated, so it doesn't really qualify as a suggestion per se.
I understand that it's an option, although you kinda' have to play it if you wanna' join tournaments.

So you want to take away freedom of choice...I few ppl have tried this in the past...Ford motor company being one of the first to make this mistake. In the early 1900's Henry Ford said you can have a Model T,any color as long as its black....Then Sloane of the Gm motor company said you can have his cars in any colour. The rest is history..Ford never got control of the vehicle market again.GM still control it to this day...All because he gave ppl the freedom of choice.
Yep your idea is PANTS!...Plus its in the wrong subject.

I must be doing something wrong. I seem to win more when the opponent takes the first turn in this style of game.
Due to current economic conditions the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off
Fulldisclosure..its unlimited forts but only one move per player...so in doubles and trips, the first guy is the set up man and then....well dont want to give away all of my strategy
