I've dropped playing terminator games for a while. I want a gold medal in standard games! And I want a speed medal too, so I might be doing that a bit more often.
Goodbye high score, my points are going to disappear

I dunno, for some reason the lack of variety of what I would consider "specialty" medals makes them rather dull. A cool medal system is like Halo2. This is just like... ok one for each type, not a big deal. Think it would be better to have medals like "killed 4 or more opponents in the same turn 20x," "gotten at least 1 win on 25 or more different CC maps," "reached the rank of X at this point [as in reached Sergeant, Sergeant 1st class, etc." "Won 10 games in a row."

This person is correct.
I'm not going to bitch about the medals but, like others, I don't really see the big deal with them as they are. Basically, play a lot of games, have cooler medals.

Voted no. But I did a check, and about 50% of all public casual games is 6 player games today. I have no idea if 6 player is the most popular game size or if it comes from the needing 5 unique opponents thingy though...

It's a very popular setting and no doubt the origin of the beating 5 unique opponents criteria.
I find the medals to be all a little overkill.. are we in kindergarten? when was rank not enough, that now there need to be medals to show how good you are?
i will be when i get some. (I'm sure I have some esp. terminator games but sadly I have to win a game to see em.) not easy in terminator games where you got for the 2-3 easy kills to get the points but might not win outright the match.
