Gameplay
This is a Standard Map. (Perhaps it is considered a Conquest Map since players starts with a single territory?)
Starting Points
[spoiler]Each player starts with a Shareholder then this map is designed for a maximum of 8 players.[/spoiler]
General principles
[spoiler]Players have two ways to win the game:
- following the victory condition:
- the possession of one column of Budget Panel (0,5k to 5k)
- the possession of a complete line-up
- eliminating all other players.
Let's see how to do it.
The map is centered on two key areas:
- the playing field with 26 positions
- Budget panel with 80 positions
The players will have to start from the Shareholders to take possession of Coach and 0,5k box in the Budget Panel.
- from the Budget Panel they can begin to manage the economic aspect (Economic upgrades),
- from the Coach they can begin to treat the physical / technical aspect (Trainings & Line-up).
- line-up efficiency (possession of a complete line-up with its 11 positions in the field) and players efficiency (divided by roles and enhanced with various trainings),
- possession of more and more money (climbing the summit of the Budget Panel).
In this map, if not specified otherwise, the territories of the same area / zone can neither attack or bombard each other.[/spoiler]
What happens in the Field of play
[spoiler]In the field of play territories are divided into 3 groups according to the role of players: Defenders, Midfields and Strikers, then there is the goalkeeper (K1).
The territories are connected by the white lines and can be attached as normal only if they are connected between them. They can also attack the players on the bench of the same role, then:
- K1 can attack K2,
- Defenders (D1 to D10), can attack D11 and D12,
- Midfields (M1 to M9) can attack M10 and M11,
- Strikers (S1 to S6) can attack S7 and S8.
If you have all the territories of a group you get the bonus for the role but only if you have also the corresponding tactic territory.
In what way? Each territory / player is circled in a different way, a circle divided into parts (2 or 3) depending on which part of tactics. If you want to use the 3-4-3 tactic you have to possess the 3-4-3 territory (circled in red) and the 10 territories in the field who have a part of the red circle.
If you have all the territories + the corresponding tactic territory + the goalkeeper (K1) you get the bonus for the tactic.
If you take possession of positions that are not needed for the line-up chosen then you'll get a +2 malus for each wrong position.[/spoiler]
What happens into Bench
[spoiler]Into the Bench everyone can attack everyone.
The Coach can attack:
- Referee,
- all players of the Bench (K2, D11, D12, M10, M11, S7 and S8),
- all Lv1 territories of the Training Panel.
Each player into the bench can attack players of the same role in the field of play, then:
- K2 can attack K1 in campo,
- D11 and D12 can attack defenders in the field of play (D1 to D10),
- M10 and M11 can attack midfielders in the field of play (M1 to M9),
- S7 and S8 can attack strikers in the field of play (S1 to S6).
Tactics & Line-Up
[spoiler]The players in the field of play give you access to several bonuses:
- 3 bonus for the role:
- a Defense bonus if you possess all the defenders related to tactical choice,
- a Midfield bonus if you possess all the midfielders related to tactical choice,
- a Attack bonus if you possess all the strikers related to tactical choice,
So we will have:- 3-4-3 tactic: Defense bonus +5, Midfield bonus +6, Attack bonus +5, sum +16
- 4-4-2 tactic, Defense bonus +6, Midfield bonus +6, Attack bonus +4, sum +16
- 5-3-2 tactic, Defense bonus +7, Midfield bonus +5, Attack bonus +4, sum +16
- 4-3-3 tactic, Defense bonus +6, Midfield bonus +5, Attack bonus +5, sum +16
- 4-5-1 tactic, Defense bonus +7, Midfield bonus +8, Attack bonus +1, sum +16
- 5-4-1 tactic, Defense bonus +8, Midfield bonus +7, Attack bonus +1, sum +16
- If you have the entire line-up (10 positions plus goalkeeper) then the 3 bonus described above are replaced by a single +20 Tactics bonus.
What happens in Main Shareholders Panel
[spoiler]This is the Board of Directors of the club.
is composed of 8 members which can perform the various purchases
Each of the 8 Shareholders (ShA, ShB, ShC, ShD, ShE, ShF, ShG and ShH) can attack the Coach.
Each of them will have access to a column in the Budget Panel. Each column is separated from the others: you can not attack from one column to another.
ShA will attack the territory A 0,5k,
ShB will attack the territory B 0,5k,
ShC will attack the territory C 0,5k,
ShD will attack the territory D 0,5k,
ShE will attack the territory E 0,5k,
ShF will attack the territory F 0,5k,
ShG will attack the territory G 0,5k,
ShG will attack the territory H 0,5k.[/spoiler]
What happens in Budget Panel
[spoiler]Once a member of the Shareholders panel takes a 0,5k box begins the climb to the summit of the Budget panel up to the box 5k. When you control an entire column you will receive a MegaBonus.
From boxes A 0,5k, B 0,5k, etc., you'll begin to expand your team financially.
Here you have access to many economic bonuses.[/spoiler]
What happens in Training Panel
[spoiler]The panel is divided in three blocks: one for the characteristics of the defenders, one for the characteristics of the midfielders and one for the characteristics of the strikers.
Based on the improvement of the characteristics of a role (possession of boxes of different levels) you will get the bonus to add to the Tactic bonus.
So the bonuses that you will get will be closely linked to the team on the field of play and not give any bonuses if you do not have the line-up and corresponding tactics.
Example:
If you have the box tactic 4-4-3 plus its 10 positions in the field of play (the ones with the yellow slices of circle) plus goalkeeper that is necessary for any line-up, then you get a bonus of +20 per turn .
If, in addition to Tactics just described strikers are trained in their 3 characteristics to level 1 then the Tactics bonus will be increased of +5 per turn.
If midfielders are trained in their 3 characteristics to level 2 then the Tactics bonus will be increased of +11 per turn.
If the defenders are trained in their 3 characteristics to level 3 but you do not have the complete line-up and the corresponding tactic then you do not get any bonuses.
This is the key concept: the physical improvements give their fruit only if you own the complete line-up (11 positions) + the corresponding tactic.[/spoiler]
