Well, we have all the cards that we need- the right numbers and the right colors. Everyone looks to be in a good position for the action to work. Let's just hope there are no miracle dice and we don't see 20 defeat 45 or something like that!
It all begins on Scotts next turn if you would like to follow along.
there really isn't any way that the dice can prevent this from happening. Even if someone loses like a 45 v 20 or something, we can simply let the player time out, fort some more troops to him and try again next round.

the max cards u can hold without having to cash is 9....so what r u trying to figure out ? ....and maniac math i thought he was smarter then this..
Edit:
then when he holds the 9 cards he lets the time ran off...and the next player eliminates him and lets the time ran off thats 13 cards ....etc. etc.
this actually would work....amazing!!! good luck guys

It wouldn't really have mattered since in theory no one would have cashed up to this point. Keep in mind that the person who is collecting the cards never gets to cash until we've reached our goal....maniac can cash because he is the bystander and not involved in the actual process. Scott misunderstood us one round and attacked so he had too many cards and had to cash.
I originally thought we would make it escalating to get the sets high in the beginning and have some enormous cash in at the end. Having high sets could have made balancing the armies easier but it would have just taken longer.
24 cards don't guarantee 8 sets. what will you do if player 3 ends up with just 7 sets? will you repeat the experiment?

It doesn't guarantee it, but its possible. That's why you name what cards you have and if it doesn't yield the right number of sets, someone cashes.
well if you guys are really unlucky you could end up cashing dozens of sets before the right combination comes along and when it does crappy dice spoil the atacks

So you have
1- 5 2- 5 3- 4
4- 5 5- 5 6- anything
1 and 4 deadbeat which gives player 2 ten cards and player 5 ten cards.
Then player 3 takes both of them out and has 24 total.
That scenario wouldn't exactly work in that order. Once player 1 deadbeated then player 2 would have to cash before he'd be able to play again. What we would need to do is have player 4 deadbeat first which would give player 5 10 cards. Then Player 2 eliminates player 5 and that gives him 14 cards. then player 1 and 3 deadbeat giving player 2 a total of 24 cards and 8 cash ins.
yeah AK's right on this one, can't have someone kill 2 people since after killing 1 person that player would be forced to cash before making any more attacks.
